Enable push notifications
Web Push is the fastest way to learn an agent needs you. Approve from the notification itself in two taps.
Available on which plans
Web Push is included on Team and Enterprise. Free / Solo / Studio plans use email + in-app indicators only.
Per device
Push registration is per device, per browser. Enable it once on each device you want notifications on.
How to enable
Two surfaces, same result:
From the approvals page
/approvals → an inline banner offers it:
🔔 Approve from your phone “Enable push and you’ll be notified the second an agent needs your approval — tap to approve in seconds.” [Enable] [✕]
Click Enable. The browser prompts for notification permission. Allow it. The service worker registers, and you’re set.
From settings
/settings → Push notifications toggle → flip on.
What you’ll receive
- Approval required — the most common. Includes the agent, platform, scope, and approve/deny action buttons in the notification itself on supported browsers.
- Anomaly detected (Team+) — critical anomalies trigger a notification.
- Agent report (Team+) — error / critical severity reports surface as notifications.
Other notifications (info-level self-reports, plan warnings, etc.) stay in the in-app inbox.
Browser support
| Browser | Status |
|---|---|
| Chrome (desktop + Android) | ✓ Full |
| Firefox (desktop + Android) | ✓ Full |
| Edge | ✓ Full |
| Safari (macOS 16+) | ✓ With site permission |
| Safari (iOS 16.4+) | ✓ Only when added to home screen as a web app |
There’s no native iOS app yet, so the home-screen install path is currently the only way to get push on iPhone.
Disabling
Two places:
/settings→ Push notifications toggle off- Browser settings → revoke notification permission for the site
Either works. Disabling on one device doesn’t affect others.
Troubleshooting
- “Permission denied or subscribe failed” in the banner: the browser blocked the request. Open site settings (lock icon → Notifications) and allow.
- You enabled it but nothing’s arriving when an approval shows up: hard-refresh the page once (the service worker may need to re-register).
- You’re getting notifications on the wrong device but not the one you want: enable per-device on each. There’s no “all devices” toggle.
