Cancel your subscription
Cancellation moves your account from a paid plan to Free at the end of the current billing cycle. Your data is preserved; agents and platforms over the Free-plan limits get suspended (not deleted) at the cycle boundary.
How
/billing → Manage billing → opens the Stripe portal.
In Stripe’s portal, click Cancel subscription. Confirm.
Stripe sends you a cancellation confirmation email. The next time you reload /billing, the Status badge shows cancelled with the cycle’s end date displayed.
What happens at the cycle boundary
When the current paid period ends:
- Your
organisations.plandrops tofree - Plan limits tighten: 2 agents, 2 platforms, 100 calls/month, 3-day audit retention
- Agents above the 2-agent cap are auto-suspended (not deleted)
- Platforms over the 2-platform cap stay connected but you can’t add new ones until you remove some
- Audit history older than 3 days is no longer queryable in the dashboard
Until then
Nothing changes — you keep your paid plan features and limits until the cycle ends. Use that window to:
- Export your data if you want a snapshot (Export data)
- Identify which agents and platforms you’d want to keep within Free limits
Coming back
If you re-subscribe later, your data is right where you left it:
- Suspended agents still exist; reactivating them is one click
- Platforms are still connected (you may need to reauth if OAuth tokens expired)
- Permissions and audit history are intact
You don’t have to start over.

Cancelling and never coming back
If you want a clean exit — no Free-plan account hanging around — wait until cancellation takes effect, then go to Settings → Account Management (Clerk) and delete your identity. AgentValet’s owner record is soft-deleted alongside it.
